When Jesus walked the earth, people flocked to him for even just a momentary encounter with his life changing ministry. Today, however, while many still claim to admire Jesus, for a variety of reasons fewer and fewer are interested in His church. Whether it be the stuffy “holier than thou” attitude, the disconnect between the church and life in the “real world,” the hypocrisy and scandals, or simply the endless demand for money, it can be hard to find a church that simply wants to follow Jesus without all the frustrations and baggage.

Our mission at The Hills Church is to rekindle that breath of fresh air Jesus was to those of His day. We seek to be refreshing, relevant, and real through our simple, family-integrated and congregationally-led approach to ministry. We’re not interested in bloated programs or expensive productions. We’re not concerned with putting on the perfect show or pretending like we have all the answers. We just want to love God and love the people of Pittsburgh in the most simple and tangible ways possible so that, together, we might draw nearer to Jesus and His Kingdom.
