Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Tom is a product of his surroundings: passionate about the redemptive power found in the combination of second chances and a tenacious spirit. Tom didn’t grow up in the church. His life was turned upside down when he was introduced to the real, historic Jesus who gave everything to demonstrate the love and grace of God for the world. Tom views “church” and “ministry” different than most modern pastors. He’s not interested in big buildings and large budgets. Tom would rather run a business or work a regular 9-5 to support his ministry. With multiple advanced degrees and many years of experience in ministry and business leadership, Tom is no stranger to affecting change and seeing positive results at both the individual and organizational levels, regardless of the environment. Kavan has three loves in life: music, golf, and Jesus. A gifted musician who has honed his numerous musical skills entirely on his own, nothing brings greater joy to Kavan’s life than to offer these gifts in the service of God and His church. When he’s not plucking the strings of his guitar or pounding on his drum set, you can often find Kavan on one of the many local golf courses or selling golf supplies at a local retailer.
